Come and Sing Mozart's Requiem ()
A ‘come and sing’ event where we invite everyone to come and spend the day learning Mozart’s Requiem.
One (optional) rehearsal remaining:
- Thursday 19 June 19:30 at Lichfield Methodist Church
We will have singers – chorus members and guests – who have been rehearsing in recent weeks, and some who are just coming for the day. In addition, we are excited to be welcoming young singers from Lichfield Cathedral School to join us in the afternoon and take the solo parts for the performance at the end of the day. Not only that, we are also putting together a string quartet to add to the enjoyment of the afternoon. Ben Lamb will be rehearsing the singers and directing the combined forces. Liam Condon will be our pianist/keyboard player for the day.
The venue for the singing day is Coton Green Community Church, The Coton Centre, Comberford Road, Tamworth, Staffordshire B79 9AA. Look out for the sign to Church Parking from the main road. Link to a map below. There is plenty of parking on site, with marked bays for blue badge holders nearest the building.
